I"ve had this nest thermostat for over a year and it's worked great.  Recently it started reporting the w5 error message.  What can I do to repair this?

I have a nest thermostat that has worked for over a year, but is now not turning on.  The screen remains blank after I disconnect and reconnect it, but there is a green blinking light.  How do I repair this?

Put your ear against the display, can you hear it clicking/buzzing?
