wifi

I have several Google smart home products none of which can find my wifi. It can locate the neighbor two doors down and some neighbors ink jet printer but not my router. Ive followed ALL of the troubleshooting steps and none have worked. Only exception is my google home for some reason found the wifi.

That's really odd, what type of router are you using? Have you rebooted the router?

Its a net gear c6300v2 or something like that. Yeah ive rebooted it and I even logged onto the router to make sure the ssid wasnt hidden.

It's odd that they can't even see the network at all.  Can you try changing the wireless channel on the router and then rebooting once more.  To be safe reboot one of the non functioning Google home devices as well , and try to setup again.

If this doesn't work, then the next step would be to factory reset the router and create a new wifi network with a new SSID, and reset your smart devices to connect to the new network.

That’s really odd indeed. Can you try taking one of the google devices that is not working right next to the router? Based on the fact that they recognize ssids of neighbors I don’t think we are dealing with a location issue here but just to make sure. I am sure you checked that but make sure you have both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz enabled on your router,
