My current thermostat has 7 wires, namely E, AUX, Y, G, O, R, C. How should I connect the nest thermostat?

Assuming you purchased a Nest Learning Thermostat (you need this specific model not the 2020 model), download the Google Nest app. It will guide you through the setup and tell you where to connect the wires.
