Hey all,

Im new to this community and am not sure of this os already asked before. A quick search did not bring back any possitice results.

At home k have a setup with 1 wifi mesh router with 1 additional point.

The problem is that I need to get an additional LAN access in the house in a different place as where the router is positioned.

My question is of i can use a 2nd router connected to the wifi from the first router and then use the LAN exit gate? This lan i want yo use to feed my TV channel box.

Hope someone here has this experience and can advice me.

Thanks in advance!

Yep, that would work. Be aware that too many pucks within too tight a space can hurt performance:

If your main objective is to get LAN ports, maybe consider ethernet over coax (MoCA) or powerline instead?

I don't work for Google.
