What's the answer here? I have a printer that is only a couple years old and is not working with Wifi Pro.

What brand and model of printer is it? Have you successfully connected it to your Wifi?

HP OfficeJet 5740 - it’s connected to wifi but won’t show up most of the time.

I’m assuming your phone and printer are connected to the same Wifi network and that printer model supports AirPrint? Looks like HP have some good troubleshooting steps:
