CANNOT ADD A SINGLE G WIFI POINT TO MY EXISTING G HOME WHICH ALREADY HAS A MIGRATED NETWORK OF G WIF

AARONSULESKE

MY HOME WILL NOT ACCEPT A SINGLE G WIFI GEN 1. I HAVE A NET OF 4 GEN 1 WIFI POINTS THAT I MIGRATED TO THE HOME. NOW I BOUGHT A SINGLE GEN 1 WIFI TO ADD AND CAN'T FIND THE DIRECTIONS THAT WORK.

Are all pucks bought for the same country/ region? Mixing US and EU for instance, won't work.

Guidance on set up:

If that does not work I'd try to factory reset your whole network and set it up from scratch:

If you use the same network name (SSID) and password, devices will reconnect by themselves.

I don't work for Google.

I have had exactly the same issue this weekend and
worked it out today - If you connect to the WiFi the AP
generates and press the i beside the name, ensure that
the following is all switched off:
Low Data
Private Wi-Fi Address
• Limit IP Tracking
I switched it off and they connected to the mesh after
that. Been hours trying to fix it!!!!!!
