Camara image not availavle - try again

Hello Everyone, This is my first post on here. ( Be Gentle lol)

I have had a fairly comprehensive Nest set up for a while now. Cams In & Outside. Door Bell, Chrome etc etc. 

I have now for some time had issues getting imaging from my cams, particularly when im away. I fully get that the system is dependent on a decent WIFI but none the less, it constantly tells me its unable to connect and to try again.

Even when i was away on holiday in the uk last week, I had a message to say that there was someone in the dining room, yet i was unable to get the camara to show me what was happening. I have spoken to Nest support who basically said, its the wifi but is this really the case?? whats the point of having a system that is so dependant on "Blow it off the walls " wifi to make it work when large parts of the uk is still on wet string and prayers for its internet connection. Im not an IT techi by any means so am keen to learn if I am doing something wrong in setting etc but i am losing patience with what i believed was a brilliant system before it got bought by Google.

I dont want this to be a negative post but i need help to get it sorted

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I would love to look into this issue for you and help find a solution. I know how important security is, and I am sorry in this case, you did not have the option to see. I hope nothing was vandalized or stolen for your own sake!


It does sound like it is an issue with the internet, or your camera in general. If you haven't already, please restart your camera, make sure that it is connected to a strong internet connection, and see if records information better. I am afraid there would be no way for us to get that footage for you if that is what you seek, but I hope that it does not happen again in the future. Most of the time, if there is recording issues, it's due to a connection issue, or physical damage, or something in between. 


Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you, and I will help find a solution.
