Can I use a second Nest WifI router as a point

I've got a Nest mesh with 1 Router (downstairs) and 1 Point1 in the office upstairs.  I've just had an extension built and I need to extend the WifI to the new area. I have a spare Nest WiFi router, can I make this another Point?

I have tried using the app to set up the router but it wants an ethernet connection, is there a way to set up the router as a point in the app?

Thank you

See this help article:

Find the “Set up your network with Nest Wifi and Google Wifi devices” section, expand “Nest Wifi router, with or without Nest Wifi point(s)” then see option 2.

Are you following those steps?

Glad to hear it!

Hey David, I too have a second nest wifi router that I would like to use as a WiFi point. I cannot seem to get the google home app to allow me to add it as anything other than a router. I just want to use it to extend my current nest wifi system

Are you following these steps? Scroll down, expand the "Set up your Nest Wifi router" section, then refer to the "Add a point or an additional router" section.
