Can a Japan purchased Google Home Wifi be used in UK

Is it compatible in UK i.e. The 5 GHz bands like on the US variant , means that the US version cannot be used in the UK

Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still searching for an answer on this. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you, but typically it's always best to buy your WiFi devices in the country you will be using them. Each country has its own regulations and standards for WiFi usage, so devices bought locally will conform to those and work best. Let me know if there's more I can do for you.
