Can't set custom LAN IP or DHCP range Nest Wifi Pro

Cyclobob

I am trying to set a custom LAN IP and DHCP range. I can edit the fields, but I can't get the changes to save.

If there is no solution to this they are coming back to Google.

Hello @Cyclobob

Usually this happens when you are trying to set them to the same range the outer network (the one the WAN Ethernet interface is connected to, likely a combination modem+router unit from your ISP). It could also happen if you are trying to use a public IP address range rather than one of the private ranges set aside for this purpose. Is it possible either of those is happening here?

Thanks for all the replies, I can see the issue now but sadly the configuration of NestWifi is too limited. You have to go through hoops to even set up an external DHCP server so have decided to part company with the product. Hopefully the admin will come more friendly & powerful in future versions.
