Can the new Google Home App track device usage by time?

The old Google Wifi app used to let me see when a device was active on the network.  I could see how long my kid was on the Xbox or if he snuck his phone in the middle of the night. With the new app, I can only see how much data has been used over the past day or week or month. This doesn't really help me know how long the device has been in use.  Am I missing something on the app?  I've poked around and tapped every option, but this is one of the least intuitive apps that has ever been "designed".

Hello timmyjoe42,

Thanks for posting here in the Community.

We appreciate the feedback that you provided on the Google Home app. We hope to have the feature to track the usage of each of the devices connected to the network available in the future. It would be wonderful if you could share this feature request with our product team directly using the app. Visit this link for more information.

If you have anything else to add, let me know.

Cheers,
Lovely

I'm having the same issue except when the device is disconnected you can't see any data. It isn't an option. A month ago you could see the breakdown of the device usage whether or not the device was still connected to the wifi, now you can only see how much data was used over the past day, week, month when it's connected. I want to see when my son is shutting down his computer for the night.

Hi MonKet,

That certainly isn’t the experience we wanted you to have; however, the feature you’re referring to is not available on your Google Home app. It was applicable before when using a Google Wifi app.

We know this is not the answer you’re looking for, and if you could send feedback about it, that would be nice. Share your concern with our product team directly using the Google Home app. Follow the steps in this link for more information.

If you have other questions or concerns, you know where to find us. We’d be happy to help.

Best regards,

Dan
