So... I've tried to buy Australia/ New Zealand wifi extenders for my exisiting Nest mesh network. I couldn't find any at all ANYWHERE. Only full set ups including wifi router and 1 or 2 extenders. I only need extenders.... not a whole new router. So I foolishly bought 2 while in the UK on holiday. Turns out they won't work with my AU network so I've basically bought 2 $200 paperweights. Great.
Why oh why can I not buy a single (or multiple) extenders without buying a whole new router?!? Utterly useless and really disappointed. If anyone knows any way to get UK extenders to work I am absolutely ALL ears, otherwise I guess I'm off to list them on eBay 😂

Hi there,
If Google doesn't sell something from their online Google store within your country then it is considered as not supported.
I just checked the Australian Google store and they do sell individual Nest WiFi points within Australia.

Lol @ not supoorted - there's a large number of retailers in New Zealand happily selling the full kits here and I can confirm it's worked flawlessly for 2 years now. Thanks for the hot tip though!

Yeah I can also buy (imported) devices from other countries in the UK where I live from un-official retailers but the fact is that Google doesn't officially sell the Google Nest WiFi device within New Zealand! Sorry.
