Cannot get Brother HL-1212W WiFi printer to talk to my Google WiFi Mesh network.

Hi, I'm trying to get a new Brother HL-1212W printer to talk to my Google WiFi. Instrux say to press the WiFi button on the printer until it flashes and then pressing the WPS or AOSS button on the wireless LAN controller.  I can't see a WPS/AOSS button on my Google WiFi hub.  WLAN config report on the printer gives out a Connetion Failure (Error:TS-02).  Any ideas?

Hi @RoyCrawf

The Google WiFi devices don't have WPS capabilities as this is outdated unsecure method to connect devices to your network.

I found THIS link from Brother that shows you can set up your printer by using their software and a USB cable.

You can also configure the network automatically directly on the Brother printer panel.

Not sure which Brother model you use, but hope this helps!

Thanks. No panel on the HL-1212W. Configured via USB connection to select the SSID etc.,
