Cant connect my 2nd wifi point

I have the router in the basement and was able to connect the first point on the 2nd floor. The 2nd point in the main floor I cant connect too.. I keeps "looking for devices" and then goes back to "what are you setting up" and I keep redoing the steps over & over again. The google assitant is working on the 2nd point but cant get it to connect. 

I already tried redoing everything (after restoring factory settings on the router) and even if I try to connect this problematic point first it just wont connect. 

Please advise
