Connecting Nest 5 router and points to new Virgin fibre router.

Hi, I've just joined Virgin Media fibre broadband at about 350mbs. My old Google Nest 5 I'm told is no longer needed given much stronger signals around the house.

But I want to try and keep the 2 Nest points set up, as I use the speakers in them, and if I can use the mesh part too then all the better. How can I do this please? I've tried this link but it doesn't work -

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548099#zippy=%2Cnest-wifi-points-only%2Cinstructions

I get to step 7 (add home) but it doesn't automatically find my device. Sort of.

It looks for devices, it then asks 'What are you setting up?' and it seems that no matter what I add, it looks for devices and then takes me back to 'what are you setting up?'.

The 2 points glow yellow. The Nest Router has a white glowing light and is unplugged from the old DSL cable (as I no longer use that). The new wifi uses a different cable that doesn't plug in to the Nest Router.

The Nest Router itself is plugged in to the new Virgin router but it makes no difference if I unplug it - it just loops to the 'what are you setting up' screen.

I've tried to add them as :-

Wifi - Nest Wifi point

Wifi - Nest Wifi router

Speaker; and even

Bridge, and Matter Enable Device, but when I scan the QR code on the points, the Google Home App says 'this is not the QR code you are looking for'.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Problem solved. For anyone in similar position I connected the Nest Router to WAN 4 on the Virgin Hub 5 and factory reset it.

Google Home app then found it again, though it's installed with a 2nd wifi network (which I called Nest). I then factory reset the two points and it all works.
