I recently purchased the Google Nest Router and Point, and also have Xfinity cable service with their modem/router equipment. I have read enough about problems using bridge mode with their modem/router that I want to go ahead and purchase my own cable modem and use with the Google Router and Point (and also save the monthly rental fee). Where can I find step-by-step instructions to do this? I am admittedly nervous about not getting it up and running quickly and then not having wifi for my work and home - so would greatly appreciate any assistance and guidance! Also interested in which cable modem people have and think works well in this configuration (Xfinity has a list of devices from Netgear, Motorola, Arris, etc that work with Xfinity). Thank you, Paul

Hi PaulB,
Thank you for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. Is this the first time you're setting up your Google WiFi? If so, you could click on this link to see the step by step instructions on how to set them up.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Edward
