Connecting Samsung ML2070W to Google Wifi

I recently switched to Virgin as a service provider and configured the router to Modem Only mode. I've connected my Google Wifi but now cannot get my Samsung printer to connect to Wifi. Any ideas? It's worked for several years with exactly that set up but now refuses to connect,

I've tried to find specifications, but didn't manage. All I found was this support page:

My guess is that it only supports 2.4ghz, and that it does not support combined SSID for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz very well. Read how Nest Wifi does that here:

So workarounds would be to use ethernet cable if there is and ethernet port on it. You can add an unmanaged switch behind Nest Wifi if you need more ethernet ports:

Or add a router (in bridge mode acting as access point only), repeater, access point that can do 2.4ghz only, preferably also connected by cable behind Nest Wifi.

Or ask HP / Samsung what they recommend.

I don't work for Google.

thank you for your feedback but sorry I am no expert to follow what you mean. However I have now had some success and so long as I stand near the printer, it seems to work. however, if my Mac is too far away, I just get gibberish printing 😞
