Creating Mesh - Something went wrong

Hi!

Just bought Nest Wifi (1 router + 1 point) and were able to setup router. Now still after several factory resets of the point I still can't connect it to a mesh (the point shows in Google Home app, but without any connections).

I've tried to force close Google Home app, factory reset point and router several times, talked to internet provider, tried to setup Nest Wifi several times in Google Home app (from phone and Chromebook). Alse tried to setup point with setup code underneath instead of QR-code.

I have even moved the router and point to same room just to be sure they find easch other!

Anyone help me, PLEASE!

Hey everyone,

It looks like we've slowed down here. We'll be closing up the thread in the next day unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.

Thanks,
Jeff

Google FAIL lol

I borrowed my dad's IPhone to set up my Google mesh system.  I had no issues with the iPhone, took about 15 mins.

I wasted 6 hours the other day trying with my android phone.   Thanks Google.....

For anyone who still have or had this issue. Google have fix the issue. The Google Nest Wifi Router can create a WiFi-mesh with the Google Nest WiFi Point.

The update is not for the Google Home app for Android, the Google Nest Wifi Point is updated.

The Google Nest WiFi Point need to be reset with a Factory reset with thesmall button underneath the Google Nest WiFi Point.

Now the message "Something went wrong" is after creating the mesh network.
It's at adding the mesh network.

Google fixed one more step, but issue still here

Do factory reset the Google Nest WiFi Point and update the Google Home app.

On Monday I forced stopped the Home App, then I cleared the data. After that I restarted my phone. After my phone restarted I factory reset my Nest wi fi point then proceeded to add it to the Home App. This time it connected to the mesh system. Make sure your phone is on the same network as your Nest router. I hope this helps.
