Disable one mesh router

I have three Google Wi-Fi routers in my home, for the mesh network. In the Google Home app I can disable individual devices, for example a specific phone or laptop, but how do I disable one whole router? If you plug an Ethernet in you can still use it on the attached device. What if I want to turn off all access to that router? Help!

There is no way to disable a point in a mesh network unless you are using a high-end commercial device. Disabling a point in a home mesh network kind of defeats the purpose of the mesh network and isn't something that most consumers would need or use effectively to spend the time on development.

As far as being able to bypass the Family Wi-Fi by connecting an Ethernet cable, that is true IF you do not have both the Wifi and wired connections for that device in the group. Family Wi-Fi uses the MAC address of the device's network connection so wired and wireless have their own MACs. Add the wired device to the group and it should be fine.

If you are not using groups to disable internet access in your home, I'd strongly suggest doing so. Below is the landing page on Family Wi-Fi and it's features:
