Hi could someone help please. What is the default password to access the setup wifi for the nest hub. It’s not documented anywhere. I can’t find an option to set it up in google home or to change it. This is my first device set up so there is no pre-existing password. I’m at the hub set up stage and the device asks me to connect to the setup wifi for which I don’t know the password. I’ve tried my providers wifi password and the number on the base of the hub. When setting up the hub the scan option is not there also so I’ve had to manually enter the number on the base of the hub. The setup is not going at all like the videos . Please help me 🙂

The setup Wifi network broadcast by the device does not have a password. You should be able to connect to it, then open the Google Home app to start the setup.

If the Nest Hub is new, then there is a code under the QR-Barcode that is the pw.
Hope this helps.
