Find/change Google-wifi password

I cannot find my Google wifi password nor how to reset the wifi password. I keep reading to just go to “Google Home” app and click on “wifi” option. That option does not exist on my Google Home app. I cannot find (and I have looked) for any other Avenue to recover the password…..but nothing.
know this has been a problem for some. Any help appreciated.

The Wi-Fi icon should appear on top of the home page in your Google Home home, like shown here:

The Wi-Fi icon has disappeared from my Google Home app multiple times. I've found that force closing the app, clearing cache then open it again, makes it reappear.

Last resort: Factory reset and set up the network from scratch.
