Good Afternoon! I’m a very loyal google customer bought 9 cameras 4 outdoors , 5 indoors, nest thermostat, 3 sensors, connected with google Nest Wifi pro and extender, provider company Fios , every day i have intermittent connectivity, sick and tired of trying every reset on Fios and nest wifi, had over 4 visit on Verizon tech and they say is Nest Wifi pro issues, contacted Google many times over 7 times system works for a couple of hours and the problem comes back again, last case number they said they would help me and nothing happen, don’t know what to do anymore only received an email saying google is analyzing data, in the meantime the problem persists, I’m don’t know they can figure it out the solution , every day my system starts dropping and won’t stop for hours until i reset the router or the modem.

I came here to post the same issue!! I upgraded from Nest WiFi to Nest WiFi Pro thinking it would give me wider coverage in our 3800 square foot, 2 story home. My Nest WiFi Pro worked for almost a month with no issues, then all of a sudden the connection is intermittent! When I test the connection, both points are offline. I check the wires, restart them, removed the Google home app, downloaded it again, made sure no special characters in my network name and password… I tried nearly all the recommendations of other people reporting the same issue and moderators coming on here saying try this… I completed the support form and have yet to hear back from anyone. The WiFi will reconnect for a few minutes at a time, then go completely offline again, it’s frustrating!!  I work from home and rely on the mesh network to get me a connection in my home office. I also have 8+ Nest cameras, door locks and Google home devices all dependent on the Nest Wifi! Ugh, this is super frustrating!!! I’m sorry you have had to deal with this as long as you have. It’s only been a few days for me, but even that is not even acceptable for a product we pay to work out of the box! Hoping someone comes on here soon to HELP!

That's my issue too. We ended up factory resetting the device last night, vs waiting for support, but this is a HUGE pain because each device has to be added back to Google Home one by one and we have A LOT of Google/Nest devices. Now we can't get one of the 3 points connected at all. All while our Nest cameras are offline and was forced to hardwire my laptop to work. I'm now starting to question if we should have considered a different option for a mesh network...

seeing all these sorts of posts just makes me wish i had gone a different route(lol) for my mesh set up, but same here i have a nest thermostat and use all phillips hue products and me and my lady both have google phones. we tried to use the mesh network that came with my provider but didnt like the connectivity. i actually dont have the same issue you are having mine is way less important than actually not working.

i wonder if these products all need updates that they are not receiving for some reason.

do you use a vpn?

im not a tech person im a chef so i probably wont be much assistance to you but i feel your pain nonetheless!

Thanks for the reply! We don't use VPN at home. I do use VPN for work and while hardwired in it's not a problem. We just can't get the Nest Wifi Pro system to stay connected. We factory reset, now one point wont connect and its the one that extends coverage to our Nest cameras.

Same issue here - 4 years with the same connection (Xfinity) and Google WiFi (5 mesh units) and all of a sudden it cannot hold a consistent connection. I have 9 thermostats and a lot of Ring solar lights.

I contacted support and they had me customize my settings - no better

this is unacceptable and must must must be resolved
