G wifi to G home app issue

Have Google Wifi Mesh. Was controlling it through Google Wifi app. Now that Google Home app has taken over, I cannot see any of my network setting. Specifically, I want to look up my Static IPs on the LAN side so that if I change to a different router system I can set it up to use the same configuration as my current system.

Hi David,

The problem was the ID used to login.  Once my friend logged in with the original gmail ID used for the Google Wifi setup and then migrated to Google Home during that session, the app worked as designed and he found items with static IPs.

He used Fing looking for more information and now possibly nmap from his PC.  There were four items with static IPs, two he can now physically identify and two he can't.  He may end up just using the power off, trial and error method to find the other two, if ping or nmap are of no help. 🙂

In any event, the issue was resolved by selecting the original Gmail address ID to log into Google Wifi and proceed with the migration to Google Home. Yay!

Did you migrate your network to the Google Home app?
