Hi.

Indeed, you can use Spectrum or any ISP you wish with Google WiFi / Nest WiFi.

All you will need to do is run your Ethernet cord from your Spectrum router to your primary Google WiFi router. Talking about the message that your Google Wi-Fi network will create will include the Google Wi-Fi hardware only. The mesh itself will not include your regular ISP router. You will have the opportunity to create your own network name and password. To receive the true benefit of your new next Wi-Fi / Google Wi-Fi network, I recommend connecting all of the wireless devices in your home to your to the new Nest WiFi router.

But all of this information and the instructions for a setup will be provided to you out of the box and during setup.

Anyway, the short answer to your question is YES. 🙂

If you do indeed decide to get the Google Wi-Fi / Nest Wi-Fi mesh devices, be sure to come back here and ask more questions if you need help.

Hi, everyone.

As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.

Thanks

I am returning my Nest wifi routers.  I have Spectrum, not sure if that has anything to do with my problem.  I am unable to complete the setup.  After an eternity, I see an error message that says Nest is not receiving an internet connection from my modem.  But my modem works with my other routers.  All of them.  I went through the process twice and that's my limit.  Back to something that works.
