I have a Sony Google TV that had been working great until I recently needed to reset the TV and now when I go to update and download apps, they all stick at download pending. I have cleared caches/data on multiple apps, removed and added my google account, tried other google account all to no avail.
Today I disconnected my phone from my Google wifi network and broadcast a hotspot and connected the tv and everything updated and downloaded instantly. So, I factory reset my entire network and it is still not working to download one of the same apps I just downloaded on my phones hotspot.
**I have contacted the Sony help department and been working through all of their steps as well, but this now seems like a google wifi issue.**

This is maybe not the solution, but try to first set a custom DNS, like Cloudflare or Google DNS for instance.
If that makes no difference, try to disable IPv6 for the Nest Wifi network:
What does your network look like other than Nest Wifi? Do you have a router in front of it that is not bridged, giving you double NAT? That could cause problems too.
