Google Wi-Fi flashing then solid blue light cycle

My Google Wi-Fi point is stuck in a cycle of flashing blue and solid blue lights. Can’t be found in Google home app.

context: I have two devices in my home- the main router and an extender. The main router works just fine but the other day I noticed the extender wasn’t on- the power supply isn’t functional. I don’t know how long ago it was last on so I found another power supply but it wasnt connecting to the network. I then tried factory resetting through the app and now it won’t show up in app to connect and is stuck in this endless cycle. Any thoughts?

Turns out it was a power supply issue. The temporary cord I was using wasn’t a Google product. I fixed the original cord and after plugging it back in- everything worked just fine.

Hi @Aaron2

According to THIS support page it means the device is factory resetting it self and is ready for set up.
Maybe worth a shot trying to set the device up like new. 😊

Thanks for answering @RXShorty. To clarify when it blinks it’s a fast flash- not the slow pulse that I think indicates readiness for set up. It’s been in this cycle for days now. Still won’t show up in the app for connection.
