Google WiFi Point Not Connecting

Hufif

I already have a google Wi-Fi network set up. Was trying to add a couple additional google Wi-Fi points to the network. It should be the easiest installation but when I power up my new puck and then try to connect to the puck, the app times out and says it cannot conduct. I’ve tried it standalone. I’ve plugged an Ethernet cable into it from the primary puck. Even when I directly connect it to the modem and try to create a new network it won’t connect. I’m at a loss.

I see you selected iOS. Here's some things to check:

Thank you all for the notes. Turns out the issue was in the Google Home App.  Under Settings > Google Home App the Local Network was off and needed to be turned on. After that it worked like a dream.
