I am trying to do port forwarding on my google Wifi and I am running into some issues with it failing. While looking through support I looked up the Network mode and see that my main device that is connected to the ONT is in NAT mode but my 2 wifi points are in bridge mode. It also says that I cant change that. Reading more it seems that bridge mode should only be if you have a single point and not how the points should be set. Any help is appreciated.

No, that's actually working as intended. In a normal setup, your main Wifi point will be in NAT mode and all your secondary points will be in bridge mode.
What happens when you're setting up port forwarding?

When I am doing the port forwarding I am able to enter the port in the home app but when I am testing it, it is never open.

I hope this helps.

Hi, my two Google WiFi points are in bridge mode, too (Google WiFi router in NAT mode), and it's causing no operation issues.
My mesh is connected to a LAN port in my ISP-provided modem-router combination. Therefore it's a case of Double NAT, but I have experienced no noticeable issues.
I have been forced to use this setup because IPTV and VoIP services are VPN tagged by my ISP with tag numbers different from those supported by my Google WiFi router.
Thanks for your posts!
