Google wifi used as an extender without hard wire

Mija

Is it possible to set up one google wifi point without using any ethernet hardwire?  I only have one puck and I have an ASUS RT-AX82U wireless router. So I just want to use the Google wifi as an extender without purchasing more pucks.

No. There must be a primary Nest Wifi unit, and it must be fed internet through an ethernet cable.

I don't work for Google.
