I am not sure if I have Gen 1 one of the Google Wi-Fi extender. Ive had it for a little over a year. Recently it just stopped working. I have done the hard reset on it. My Google Home app finds the device but says that it cannot be connected to Wi-Fi. I’ve changed one of the four units switched them around and did a reset on it and still get the same results. It is pulsing blue. Which should mean that it’s ready to connect but I’m not able to get it to work. Help

Make sure you have no VPN enabled/ connected; not any 3rd party product, nor the "Apple iCloud Private Relay" ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212614 ).
Make sure the Google Home app has permissions to "local network access" ( https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7172427?hl=en ).
Does it still not work? What error do you get?
Have you deleted the whole network in your Google Home home before trying to set up a new master/ main puck?

Hi everyone,
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks,
