Hi,
I've just set up a mesh, consisting of three Nest WiFi routers (not points!), and three Gen 1 Google WiFi units.
I've connected my CCTV system via ethernet cable to one of the Google WiFi units, but it isn't showing up as a connected device (under Google Home > WiFi > Devices).
I need it to appear so that I can enable port forwarding on it, in order to view my CCTV remotely.
Any suggestions gratefully received!

Hey, HappyAspect.
Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still having this issue and to see if you have done any troubleshooting so far. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you.
Thanks.

Hi, HappyAspect.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks.

Hi, I still have the same issue unfortunately. Any ideas?

Hi, HappyAspect.
Have you tried plugging the CCTV device into the main router's ethernet port instead of using one of the WiFi points? If so, did you see any differences in functionality? Let me know if that's something you have tried or if there's a reason why you can't use that sort of setup and we can go from there.
Thanks.

I haven't, they're quite far apart (downstairs hallway vs loft)!
I could dig around and find a really long Ethernet cable to test that, but it wouldn't be a permanent option.

Thanks for the clarification there, HappyAspect. I can see how the setup doesn't really lend itself to that option for you. I'm taking a look deeper into this to see what I can find out. I'll let you know what I find.
Thanks.

Hi, HappyAspect.
I just wanted to touch base and to let you know that a new firmware release is actually rolling out to devices now. It will download and install automatically, so there's nothing you need to do in order to receive it. Once you have received that update, it will install and restart your network for you. If things are still not working at that point, please let me know and I can look at things once more with you.
Thanks.

Thanks - I'll give it another try then!

Sure thing, HappyAspect.
As I mentioned, it can still be a little wait for that firmware to hit, but everyone will have it before the end of April. Definitely let me know either way if you notice any changes.
Thanks.

Hey, HappyAspect.
Just to add to that last bit of info, the update version for both Google WiFi and Nest WiFi will be 14150.43.80. If you are seeing a different version number when you check in Google Home, you have yet to receive the updated firmware. Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Thanks.

Hi, HappyAspect.
I just wanted to check in to see if that update has come through yet or to see if you're still waiting on that. If the update has come through, have you seen any changes in your situation?
Thanks.

Hi again, HappyAspect.
I just wanted to follow up once more to see if you saw that update come through or not yet. If you haven't received it, it should be real soon as everyone will have it by Monday. Let me know if you have seen any changes.
Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here again. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
