I cannot get an Amazon/Alexa device to connect to my Google mesh Wi-Fi

I have a Google nest mesh Wi-Fi throughout the house that has really really good speeds, but when I try and connect an echo or any other Amazon device, they cannot Connect to the Wi-Fi when I choose the correct Wi-Fi.

• What message are you getting when you try to connect them?
• Are you using a modem and router combo?
• Have you connected this device on your Google Wifi network before?
