Issues Setting Up or Using Google WiFi Model NLS?

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all doing great!

I’m reaching out because I’ve been running into some major headaches with my Google WiFi system — specifically the NLS-130425 model — and I’m wondering if others here are facing similar challenges.

To give a little more background: I’m currently stuck at the very beginning of the process. I can’t even complete the initial setup for the WiFi point. I’ve tried following all the steps through the Google Home app, rebooted the devices, reset them to factory settings, moved closer to the main router, tried different cables — you name it. But no matter what I do, the setup just never finishes successfully. It either gets stuck or throws an error partway through.

It’s been frustrating because I bought the system expecting an easy, seamless setup, and right now, it feels like I’m just going around in circles. I’ve looked online a bit, but experiences seem really mixed — some people say it works great, others are also stuck like me, but there doesn’t seem to be one clear cause or solution.

So I thought it would be helpful to bring the question here to the community:Are you facing any issues with your Google WiFi NLS-130425 units

Are you able to complete the setup without problems?
If you faced issues, what kind were they — setup problems, connectivity drops, speed issues, app-related glitches, or anything else?
And if you figured out a workaround or fix, it would be awesome if you could share it!

Even if you aren’t having issues, I’d love to hear from you too. It would be great to know what a successful setup looked like, or what kind of environment/setup you’re using that might be helping everything run smoothly.

Hopefully, if we gather a few experiences together, it’ll give all of us a better idea of what’s going on — and maybe even help some of us get things working better.

Thanks for the reply and the link, but I believe this issue goes beyond basic troubleshooting steps.

I’ve tried setting up the WiFi point using both Android and iOS devices, and every time it fails — it keeps saying that it cannot set up the network. No matter what I do (factory resets, different devices, different locations), it just won't complete the setup.

After doing some research online, it's clear that this is a widespread problem specifically with the NLS-130425 model. A lot of people are reporting the exact same issue across various forums and support threads. It really looks like a hardware-related issue with this particular batch or model, not just a user error.

It would be helpful if Google could officially address this, because from what I’m seeing, I’m definitely not the only one facing this problem.
