Please help 🙂
I have a two-pack Nest Wifi kit (Router and Point).
I've set these up and they work fine.
I need to expand the network so it reaches the top floor of my house, so I ordered a Nest Wifi Point, however, I messed up the order and instead ordered another Nest Wifi Router.
I've tried adding the 2nd Nest Wifi Router to the network via the Google app, but I keep getting "connection failed".
Can I add a second Nest Wifi Router, or can there only be one on the network?
And if I can add a second nest wifi router, what am I doing wrong?
Everything is run wirelessly FYI, apart from the hard-wired connection from my BT router into the primary Nest Wifi Router.
Many thanks,
Many thanks

I found this post helpful. Not sure why things worked, but I did the following:
1. Did another reset on the new Nest Router.
2. Used my iPad Google Home app and was able to add the new Router to my network. The new router was still connected via an ethernet cable from my try using my iPhone earlier in the morning when nothing was working. I also had the new Nest Router inches apart from the existing Nest Router connected to the internet.
3. After the setup I removed the ethernet cable and positioned the new Nest Router where I'd like it to be and ran a mesh test and everything looks good.
Would it have worked if I tried with my iPhone? Not really sure? Did I need the ethernet cable? Did the new 'point' need to be close together????
My suggestion, keep trying. Use a second device if you have it and do a few resets!

Using the app on another phone seems to have fixed the issue - thanks all.

I have the same problem. Was on with Google support for about 1.5 hours and we couldn't add the second Nest Router to my existing mesh network. Seems like a lot of people are having this issue. Hopefully, there is a solution?
This morning I tried again, placed the new router next to the existing router without any luck and then used the ethernet cable and it still didn't work....
