Nest Setup Network is incorrect when setting up net

I have 3 nests.    2 connected with no issues but the third just will not connect...when I manually enter the Setup code the Setup Network that pops up is not the same as what is on the bottom of my nests.  I have restarted the nest a few times but it still will not connect.   The 3rd nest is in the same room as the router also.   Any help would be appreciated.   Thank you

Hi mjk5646,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your third Google Wifi point. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • What's the status light of your Google Wifi?
  • Are you getting any messages during the setup?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward

Very sorry for the delay in responding.   Status light is blue.   I cannot scan code for some reason it only picks up a portion of the code.   The setup network on the nest in my living room is different than the one I am trying to set up.      The message i get is that it cannot connect to the network which is my living room setup network code.

Hi mjk5646,

Thanks for the response. If you're using a Google Nest Wifi point, the solid blue light means that it's already connected to the mesh. To isolate the issue, do you have a point with a pulsing white light? If so, could you check if the setup code on the point is the same as the one that you're getting on your phone?

Thanks,

Edward
