Nest WiFi Pro 160 MHz channel (worth turning on?)

Any advantage turning on 160 MHz channel if I don’t have WiFi 6E devices yet (only some WiFi 6)? Or should I keep off? (per factory settings). 

When off, does it connect to other router/point using 6 GHz band?  Or only if toggled on? What’s the difference?

For reference, I have AT&T 940 Mbps Fiber.  Modem connected to Nest WiFi Pro (ethernet/bridge mode) & one extra point (2-pack) via wireless backhaul.

If you don't have devices that can use 160mhz, performance might get worse when enabling 160mhz. More info:

Just to add, this setting only applies to the 5GHz band. The 6GHz band should always use 160MHz bandwidth, and that is where the mesh interconnect runs regardless of this setting. So, you can experiment with this setting to see if your 5GHz devices benefit from it. Just be aware that some 5GHz devices may perform poorly when this is enabled, and that is why it is a configuration option.

In essence my main question was if mesh runs through 6 MHz band 160 GHz bandwidth? Per @MichaelP yes. Toggled 6 GHz on for devices + WPA3 (which I believe’s needed/ runs hand-in-hand) & no issues with 2.4 loT devices or 5 MHz. I have no real way of telling if devices are connecting to 6 GHz band, other than PS5 indicating WPA3 security connection. Router/Mesh unit does run considerably hotter (to the touch) than previous generation. Otherwise, all good. Thank you @olavrb @Jhonleanmel
