Nest WiFi Pro Firmware Version 3.74.447573 is out.

Hey folks 👋

Noticed tonight that my Nest WiFi Pro has installed a new firmware version, 3.74.447573.

I looked it up but according to the support page, the latest version is Augusts 3.73 version. Is there any confirmation of the changes? Anyone else on this version and notice any changes? I've had some smart home issues the last couple of days, but I don't know when the update installed, so it's hard to know for sure what was causing it.

As @MichaelP  stated, the site will be updated once the rollout is mostly complete. Here is a generalized list of what is in the newest version:

This rollout will include:

  • Improved Wi-Fi Mesh connection stability and roaming experience
  • Improved switching speed when roaming between Mesh AP and points
  • Other stability and security vulnerability fixes

Yeah that page is advising that the latest version is version 3.73.424613. It doesn't seem to have been updated in a while.

The latest version is 3.74.447573.

New firmware releases deploy in multiple waves over time to increasing fractions of the installed base. They update the latest version page after almost all devices have been updated.

That is some great info Patrick, thanks!

If I bookmark that page, will it be updated over time with each new release (when the rollout is mostly done of each update)?

Alternatively, is there any way to sign up for an email or text or other alert when an update has happened? I've had some WiFi issues since moving into my new home but they seem to have gotten better over time and I wonder if updates might be the reason.
Thanks in advance!

Hey @Oogleberry .

The site will update once a rollout is close to completion and has already been updated for the latest Nest Wifi Pro version. I don't know of any way to set alerts when new firmware is pushed out off the top of my head though but I'm sure someone knows a way.

Yesterday I had to reset mine Google Nest WiFi Pro. When I setup again it updated to 3.74.447573, but I don’t how what changed. Anyone knows?

Hey @juliomirandabr .

The site will show what was included in the update at a high level for the most part. If you want full details, you will need to poke around the developers' page. You can also check many of the reputable sites that cover things like this as they tend to do a good job doing the code and dev digging so you don't have to.
