Nest WiFi

I have 3 google pucks and one nest on network, just got a nest router and additional point to expand. To use the nest as router can i just swap out the google wifi router or do i need to create a new network?

I also have one google WiFi point which just won’t connect to the network, all other three connected no problem, one, which was one of three i brought from old house won’t connect, have tried restarts etc, doesn’t work.

Replacing the primary requires factory resetting all Nest/ Google Wifi pucks and create a new network in the Google Home app.

Most common reason a puck won't connect, is that all the pucks aint bought for/ in the same region/ country. Differences in Wi-Fi regulations around the world makes it so US equipment don't neccessarily works well with EU equipment.

I don't work for Google.

They weren’t just all bought in the same country, they were all delivered to the same zip code, when I contacted google tech help they said I should try using an droid device to connect . buying a product off someone that doesn’t work and then getting a bunch of unhelpful , and wrong reasons why it doesn’t work is criminal. The product is sold as working with ios so it should

Hi, BJM12.

Sorry for the frustration you're having. There is a possible bug that you're seeing with iOS that we're aware of and are working on, but I do have a workaround for you to try. Are you setting the WiFi points up placed where you will be using them? If so, try putting them all in the same room during setup so that your iOS device, the router, and all the points are nearby to one another. Try running setup again. If everything connects properly this time, move the points to where they will be used and run a mesh test to make sure you have a good connection on your network with how they are planned to be spaced out and adjust as needed from there.

If this doesn't work for you, please let me know and we can look into other options. I look forward to your response.

Thanks.
