I’ve had my Nest Wifi for less than a year and it recently stopped working. I did factory reset on both my modem and on the Nest Wifi but when I set it up through Google Home it just throws Connection Issue error. I even purchased a new modem thinking that was the problem since the router is pretty new but keep getting the same error. Google Home finds the router but it just wont connect to internet. I followed all the Google Home troubleshooting steps and nothing. I’ve even changed the cables but cant get it to connect. Very upset at this as I really liked the Nest Wifi system

Chatted with Google support and we were able to get the router to connect. All prompts during setup say to unplugged the router, restart the modem and plug in the router. However, what worked for me was restarting the modem but keeping the nest router plugged in. This allowed the nest router to get an ip address and connect to internet.

Same problem! Had a mesh system in our old home with two routers - one used a point. I brought the point to our new home and did a factory reset. Set up goes as expected but can connect to the internet. Any help is appreciated

Exact same problem, it worked fine for a year and then it failed yesterday.

See thread below and good luck.
It's the Nest wifi router. Troubleshooted this issue for months. My 1gb internet service was absolutely unusable on this router and it started 4 or so month ago. Worked fine for almost 2 years then 4 months ago wired connections were fine but wifi was unusable. Gave up after months of no support from Google on this issue. See similar stories below

Same problem. But I found the solution. I disconnected the Nest router and reverted back to my Netgear. Haven't lost internet connection yet.
