Replace main Wi-Fi puck?

bverdon
Community Member

I have donated my 1st gen Google WiFi to my dad and last week the main puck died. No longer will power up. I have purchased a refurbished one and need to know the best way to get everything back on online.

Hopefully I don't have to rebuild everything (remotely might I add...).

Anyone?

Thanks

Replacing the main puck requires a factory reset of the whole network triggered from the Google Home app, then set up from scratch. Unfortunately. 😕

I don't work for Google.

Hey everyone,

It looks like we've slowed down here. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.

Thanks,
Jeff
