My Google Nest WiFi router bit the dust and I bought a new one. I can't seem to connect the new one to my existing google home setup. I am able to set it up as a new home and it seems to work like that, but I don't really want to setup all my devices again on the new home, I'd rather just integrate the new one in, if possible with the same WiFi network name and password.
Is this possible or should I just give up the ghost?
Also, if I do have to use the new Google home, how would I re-setup (factory reset) the old access points?

In short, you will need to remove the old device from the home and set up the new one. It will not allow you to set it up on the existing home because one already exists.
This article will help you with doing the reset. You will just follow the normal process afterwards to set up the new device. You will need to reset the points and set them up as well.

I appreciate the answer, but I already setup a new home and most of my devices in it.

I'm good, it was easier than I thought to re-setup all my devices and routines.
Thanks,

Hello Matt65,
Awesome — glad to hear that your issue is fixed. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
Best,
