Replacement power cable for google nest wifi point

Hello,

I live in Australia, and one of our dogs chewed through the power cable for a google nest wifi point, so I am trying to find a replacement (ideally with Australian power point plug). They seem to be difficult to source though. Help appreciated.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with the cable of your Google Nest WiFi, but I'm happy to look into this for you. To get the best solution we have to check some information of your Google Nest Wifi Point, to get better assistance you can contact our customer service department using this link Contact us and one of our agents will further assist you.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Chris.

I have already talked to Google customer team - twice !  It was made very clear that (a) Google are not selling replacement power cables, and (b) no advice could be provided as to others who do sell suitable products (apart from general "look on u-buy or amazon"). I have also now lodged a complaint as (a) I only bought the product 2 years ago and (b) there is no ongoing support or availability of simple replacement parts.

I will be avoiding all google products in the future - google clearly are not providing appropriate ongoing support for their products. Buying a replacement power cord for Android or Apple phones, or for many other devices is very simple. It is insane that it is this difficult to be able to buy a replacement power cord.

I have already wasted a lot of time trying to resolve this issue. My advice to all - avoid google products !!!
