Replacing onhub with nest wifi

duke2106

I just got my Google Nest wifi router to replace my onhub router.

I have also read other posts that state you have to reset the network before you can add it. My question, however, is that I have some port forwarding setup (have a synology NAS) and would like to save that information for use in the new network, but haven't found a way to back it up, other than recording the information and setting it up again by hand in the new network.

If there is a way to back it up, what is it? If not, then I'll just write down the info and do it by hand.

Thank you in advance.

There is currently no way to back up / export -> restore / import any settings when replacing the main point.

If you are replacing any secondary point(s), the config won't be gone when reseting them.

I don't work for Google.

The OnHub is the primary router that is being replaced. The other point is a second gen Google wifi (the one that looks like a hockey puck).

Thank you, I'll be recording my information.

Hi, duke2106.

It looks like you and olavrb were able to sort this out, but I wanted to follow up real fast to see if you needed anything else here. If so, let me know and I'll be happy to help as well.

Thanks.
