Router

Nest router not connecting to cable modem. Swapped out Ethernet cable and changed ports. Modem is online. Game consoles and TV are connected Ethernet to modem and are online. I've reset the router, even deleted wifi through home app. Still no connectivity to the router. I'm at a loss

Sounds like you are running double NAT. Put the ISP equipment in bridge mode, do not use ISP equipment Wi-Fi nor ethernet ports for anything but the primary/ master Nest Wifi puck. If you need more ethernet ports than its' one LAN port, add an unmanaged switch to the Nest Wifi router LAN port.

I don't work for Google.

Not using double NAT. Cable modem is modem only, not a modem router combo. No other routers in house. Only using nest router. I factory reset the device and it tells me it unable to connect to the modem every time.

Did your setup work previously and just stopped working or are your connecting the Nest system up for the first time?

I've had it for probably close to a year. Within the last month I've been noticing speed issues. The other day it showed connected with no internet. Modem was online but the router wouldn't connect. Factory reset the router and got nothing. Finally decided to reset the modem and the router finally connected. Now one of my points doesn't want to connect. Hub, camera's, and other devices are all connected. Home app shows download speeds around 920mbps. Other speed tests show around 200mbps.

Is your modem from your ISP in Bridge mode and the Nest Router connected to he modem?  I ask only because  you mentioned you had other devices connected to the ISP modem , if that's the case the the modem is assigning IP addresses to those devices.  I have mine setup like this:

ISP modem in Bridge mode, Google WiFI Primary Router connected to modem via ethernet- Primary Google router connected to unmanaged ethernet switch - the other two points connected via ethernet to the switch (in the GH app it shows them as having wired connections.  I think the issue is the ISP modem wants to assign an IP address to the Primary Router.
