When I turn on wifi on my phone it says "connected without internet"

This could happen for a multitude of reasons. The quickest fix would be to do a network reset on your phone by navigating to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings. Your phone will then revert back to its factory default network settings. Try connecting and if the issue persists then the culprit is more than likely your home network configuration.

We have tried resetting the network and even factory reset the phone. It is clearly a problem with the Google wifi not available to the devices (my husband has the same problem with his phone) how can I completely reset the Google home system?

The easiest way to factory reset your WiFi router would be via the Google Home App. Open the Google Home App > Wi-Fi> Factory reset network > Ok. It can take up to 10 minutes for your router to fully reset. Do not interrupt this process.
After you are done resetting the router, reset your Wifi point by pressing and holding the factory reset better on your point located at the base of the point for at least 5 seconds. Continue to hold the button for additional 10 seconds until you hear your device saying that it's resetting.

I figured out that one of the cables had been switched to a LAN port on the Vivint router. Moved it to Wan and now able to use phones! This was causing a "rogue server error" prior. Thx
