Setting up home(2.4Ghz) devices

Google responded with misinformation to my post.  If you try to set these devices up from your phone that connected at 5Ghz, it does not work.  They offered an explanation that details that how they will work(once set up), but that is not the problem.

Hi, Boomer.

Sorry for any confusion created by our response to one of your questions. Let me see if I can clear a few things up.

When you set up your network, the device you're using for setup (phone or tablet) can be either a 2.4GHz or 5GHz device, and it won't make any determination for your network. No matter what device you use for setup, the mesh network will still run both at 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously. Devices that run at either frequency will still connect normally and be visible on the network.

In your situation, are you having devices that require 2.4GHz that are not showing on your network, or are they totally unable to connect? If you can give me a little more to go on, I think we can figure out what is causing your issue.

Thanks.
