Solved: Connecting Nest WIFi to Full Fibre (OpenReach)

You do not need to use the broadband providers supplied hub. Simply disconnect your Google Nest from the ethernet, in the settings change the wan connection to PPoE and then enter the username and password required to connect. Tip check the config in the supplied hub from the provide to get the user name and password. If not, just call your provider and ask for it. Connect the nest by ethernet to the fibre termination box and Restart the nest WiFi and in a few mins your will be connected.

That’s exactly what I said. Also, if Nest WiFi supports PPoE then there is no reason why you cannot use Nest on replacement to the ISP router, unless telephone (VoIP) is provided alongside (that’s not normally available for FullFibre) PPoE is the transport protocol, and you either support it or you don’t. If the fullFibre is using PPoE then NestWifi is compatible and there is no reason to use another router that could create a double NAT.
