I have had Google fiber with a tv plan for a couple years until they decided to cancel the tv plan. I was sent the Chromecasts and Fiber Points. All of the instructions look like they are for someone that is setting up a wifi network. I already have a Fiber network, with a name and password. The small fiber device that has power in the laundry room is still sending out a signal. I know how to use a Chromecast.
is there a way to add the Fiber Points to my existing Wifi network? I assumed those were only used to boost the signal throughout my apartment. Am I missing something? Must I unplug my router and create a new Network?
