Hi, I have a Chromecast 3rd gen. I try to cast from my phone but the home app says that my WiFi has to be on the same WiFi. I look under the device information and it's all correct. It seems like my device can not be found even though it's on the same WiFi. I have factory reset it about 3 times and still will not cast. Can someone please help me. I just want to watch TV again.

Try these steps:
If none of the steps above help, factory reset your Chromecast and do setup again. Once setup, try casting from those app(s) again.
