Unable to manage Google Wifi network on iPhone

cfbastian

I have a three unit Google Wifi net connected to my Internet router. I had no problem managing it under the GOOGLE WIFI app, but am unable to locate the devices in the GOOGLE HOME app (the search for devices function doesn't find anything) in order to add additinal wifi points.

Hey, cfbastian.

Sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having with the Home app to manage your network. I'm sure that's been frustrating to deal with. Let's see what's going on and what we can do for you.

So yes, the old Google WiFi app has been retired and all settings, setup, and management will be handled via the Home app. All smart devices will eventually be controlled here as well. The app is continually being updated and improved, so make sure you're working with the most recent release of the app (a recent update has gone out). In addition to that, can you let me know if you are trying to add the points using the QR code on the bottom or using the device or the setup code?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
